Used products: EmFarma Plus, Bokashi

Composting undergoes fermenting processes of lactic acid bacteria. This kind of fermentation has significant sterilizing properties but doesn’t deprive soil of useful microflora. Compost is a microbiological inoculation for soil containing large nutritional value.

Pour 1L of EmFarma Plus/1 m³ of plant residues (leaves, stumps, shells, roots, weeds, grazed grass) diluted with portion of water so as to dampness of compost would amount 50%-60%. Then flatten tightly and do not air. It is good to carve two hollows where solution and organic matter will be applied by turns. After adding the matter it is recommended to wrap compost in 10 cm thick layer of soi lor mature compost. Composting can take 10 weeks to 6 months. To accelerate this process increase dose of EmFarma Plus to 10L/1 m³. You can add kitchen waste, sand, sawdust from liter boxes and other organic residues to compost. Do not add ill plant residues.

Compost from Bokashi and kitchen wastes: you need polythene sealed container (foil sack is an option). It is best to use special container to prepare compost from Bokashi. This container has installed tap for dumping overload of gained liquid. If you use normal bucket you should drill a hole in its bottom which can be plugged.
Put residues consecutively in the container, add 2-3 tablespoons to each layer and flatten then seal the container. Bokashi will start the fermenting process, neutralize bad odors and enhance composition of wastes. Once in a few days you can remove overflow of effluxes gaining from fermentation. Efflux diluted with water can be used for example to watering flowers.
